Born and raised on a farm outside of New Sarepta, Alberta, Jordan attended the University of Alberta, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) in Psychology and then a Law degree. After beginning his legal career in Calgary, Jordan relocated back to Edmonton where he has practised in the areas of Family Law since 2005.
Jordan has appeared in the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Appeal. Practising primarily in Edmonton, he has appeared in multiple communities across central and northern Alberta, including Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, Whitecourt, Hinton, and Leduc.
Jordan’s primary focus is in the area of Family Law, assisting his clients with issues including child custody and access, guardianship and parenting, child support, spousal support and property division, as well as with applications under the Child Youth and Family Enhancement Act, including Supervision Order Applications and Temporary or Permanent Guardianship Applications.
Dedicated and compassionate, Jordan can assist individuals with any of their Family Law needs, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution or Court action. He is currently accepting new files and can generally meet with potential clients within forty-eight hours of their initial telephone call or online request to Capital City Law.
